A Blog Party, A Giveaway, and News!

Hi, all!
I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and New Year!  I've been super busy, so I didn't get to post like I'd wanted to, but now that the Holiday Hype is behind us, I hope to get into a better/regular posting schedule.

It's hard to believe that next month will be my 2 year blogaversary!  As I look back, I am SO thankful for everyone's love and support.  This adventure was begun in the midst of a stormy season of personal life, and while I didn't meet all of the goals I had hoped to by this point, there have been a LOT of successes and MUCH growth!  Looking forward, I am doubly as thankful for the love and encouragement and I appreciate each one of you more than I can say!  The adventure is still only beginning!   There are so many good things on the road ahead! :)

Starting with this!

I want to invite you to join in on this FABULOUS blog party, hosted by Vicki of 2 Bags Full.  She is one of the most amazing people I have ever gotten to know through the blogosphere!  If you are visiting from the party, WELCOME and thanks for visiting!  Let me know you are a new follower so I can follow you, too!

How about a Giveaway?! (Sorry for the less-than-stellar photos- I was using my phone's camera.)

This powder blue scarf I crocheted in super soft Homespun® yarn is just in time for the wintery weather! (Unless you are in the Southern Hemisphere, but then you can still use it in just a few months, right?) :)  The doll is about 10" high and I used some of my absolute favorite cotton fabric for her outfit.
Leave a comment for a chance to win them both!  The drawing will be held on Feb. 1st.  Best of luck!

I'm headed back to work in the studio now.  There are so many Funky Friends to be sewn today and all next week!  I have my eye on adding new listings to the Etsy shop within a fortnight, and also getting up some stock for spring festivals.  They will be here before you know it!  So. Much. To. Do!

Thanks again for stopping by!
Love and Blessings,
Lucy Jane

    1. Hi, my sweet friend! You know, between the custom ellie and if you won this doll, and the other stuff that I plan on coming out with in the coming months, Harper is going to have a room FULL of Lucy Jane goodies! (I think that would be a fabulous thing to shoot for, personally!! LOL!) Good luck in the drawing! :)

    1. Hi there, Beth! I actually didn't name them that- the creator of the patterns did! Check her out at http://FunkyFriendsFactory.com! (For whatever reason, Blogger isn't letting me leave live links in the comments, so you'll have to copy and paste.) She has about 40 Funky Friends so far and I am utterly addicted to sewing them! I do definitely pour myself into the creation of each one! :D

I will return the visit and I hope you have a fantastic weekend too!
